Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Runway, operated by lvl1 Accelerator("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Runway, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Account

·You must be 18 years of age or older to use Runway.
·You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
·One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free founder account.
·You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

2. The Service

·Runway provides financial dashboards, AI-powered analysis, investor update generation, and data room management tools for early-stage startup founders.
·The service is provided free of charge to founders. We may introduce paid features in the future with advance notice.
·We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
·We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance.

3. Your Data & Integrations

·You retain full ownership of your company's financial data. By using Runway, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your data solely to provide the service.
·You are responsible for the accuracy of data you upload or connect. Runway's analysis is based on the data you provide.
·You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect third-party accounts (Razorpay, Stripe, Zoho Books, etc.) to Runway.
·You may delete your data and close your account at any time.

4. AI Features — Important Limitations

·AI-generated outputs (runway forecasts, investor updates, chat responses) are informational only. They do not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice.
·You should verify AI-generated content before sharing with investors, lenders, or other third parties.
·We make no guarantee of the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated outputs for any specific purpose.
·Financial decisions should be made in consultation with qualified financial and legal professionals.

5. Data Room & Investor Access

·You control what financial information is shared with investors and partners through the Data Room feature.
·You are responsible for the accuracy of data you share with investors via the Data Room.
·Access grants are time-limited and can be revoked by you at any time.
·Runway is not responsible for how investors or partners use information you choose to share with them.

6. Acceptable Use

·You may not use Runway to submit false or misleading financial information.
·You may not use the platform to defraud investors, lenders, or any other party.
·You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data beyond your own account.
·You may not use the service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
·We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Partner Marketplace & Data Sharing

·If you opt in to anonymised data sharing, aggregated and de-identified metrics may be shared with partners in our marketplace (investors, lenders, grant bodies).
·Your company name and personal identity are never included in anonymised sharing without your explicit consent.
·You can opt out of data sharing at any time from Settings → Privacy.
·Runway is not responsible for the actions or decisions of partner organisations.

8. Intellectual Property

·Runway and all associated software, designs, and trademarks are owned by lvl1 Accelerator.
·We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your internal business purposes.
·You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.

9. Payments & Subscriptions

·Certain features of Runway — including advanced portfolio management, cohort management for accelerators/incubators, risk dashboards, and LP report generation — are available under paid subscription plans.
·All payments are processed securely by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited). We do not store your card numbers, UPI IDs, or banking credentials. Payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
·Subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Billing begins on the date your first payment is successfully processed.
·Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
·You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
·We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice by email. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

·Runway is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
·We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or meet your specific requirements.
·To the maximum extent permitted by law, lvl1 Accelerator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
·Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Runway shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (which may be ₹0 for free accounts).

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

·These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
·Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
·Disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

12. Changes to Terms

·We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
·Continued use of Runway after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
